Financial Impact:
The annual base salary for a full time Step C is $47,944.00, a $4451.20 increase over that of a Step A. The Department has sufficient 2023/2024 fiscal year funding budgeted for appointment at Step C.
Background Information:
The candidate’s nearly 4 years’ experience with customer service, including two years supervisory at a coffee house and his time as a Dispatcher shows good communication skills and the ability to provide clear information to the public. He has served additionally in administrative support roles for more than 2 years, with the transportation and facilities coordination and correspondence of 44 departments within a government agency, invoicing experience, and proficiency with software, coupled with his proven ability to work under pressure and deadlines is above that of an entry level employee in this position. The Department would like the opportunity to employ this highly skilled candidate who we are confident will be a great fit.
