b) BID WAIVER
1) Request to adopt the finding that the acquisition of 2 LiveScan machines from Idemia Identity & Security USA LLC., to allow for certification to the FBI's Electronic Fingerprint Transmission specifications, "hit/no hit" response from the State AFIS search, automatic fingerprint sequencing and duplicate print checking before scanning is completed, ensuring date integrity, and a quick check, review, and edit can be performed on each print
2) Request to adopt the finding that Idemia Identity & Security USA LLC., is the single source vendor for all components of the LiveScan solution, including the AFIS interface for records submission to the State
3) Request to find it in the best interest of the County to waive the formal bid process for the acquisition of two (2) LiveScan machines from Idemia Identity & Security USA LLC
c) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Chairman to sign Idemia Identity & Security USA LLC. Short Form Sales Agreement, for the acquisition of two (2) LiveScan machines in the amount of $50,009

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the general fund as funds will be paid out of County DNA fund 529-301900.

The Tehama County Sheriff's Office utilizes the LiveScan machines for identification purposes.
