The funds for this position are in the FY 2023-2024 Budget Unit 40131, and the salary for the position at Range 57, Step C is $54.71/hour. The Department also has salary savings since the position has been vacant since 2021.
Background Information:
The applicant has a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a Master’s degree in Business and has over 21 years of nursing experience with seven of those years in a management or supervisory position. In the candidate’s supervisory roles, the applicant has acquired valuable skills and experience in cost containment, budget management, project management, creation of policies and procedures and training nursing staff. The candidate’s most recent employer provided experience in implementing CalAIM initiatives in the Bay Area.
If the requested action is not approved, the County will lose the opportunity to hire a qualified applicant in this position.
The Personnel Office has reviewed the candidate’s prior experience and education and is in agreement with Range 57, Step C placement upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
