a) Request adoption of a finding that the Building and Planning Office Carpet Replacement Project, which consists of the removal and replacement of carpet in an existing facility, is categorically exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA) (Class 1 Categorical Exemption); and authorization for the Chief Administrator to file the Notice of Exemption
b) Request approval of the plans and specifications for the Building and Planning Office Carpet Replacement Project
c) Request authorization for Administration to advertise for bids on the project, with the bid opening to be held at 3:00 p.m. on April 15, 2024 in the Administrative Office, 727 Oak Street, Room #202, Red Bluff, California

Financial Impact:
Funds for the anticipated cost of the project are included in department budgets.
Background Information:
The project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 2,800 square feet of carpet at the Building and Planning Department offices. The old carpet is worn and in need of replacement.
