Financial Impact:
No financial impact with the latest special meeting for the Strategic Plan Retreat.
Background Information:
On 4/4/17, the Strategic Plan Development Standing Committee was formed to assist in setting goals, objectives and develop an action plan for the organization. At the 12/5/23 Board meeting, direction was given to the Chief Administrator to advance the committee’s previous draft and further develop the action plan with information generated at the County’s three phase Strategic Plan Workshops during the summer of 2022. At the 1/30/24 Board meeting, the Chief Administrator presented a draft of the Strategic Plan. Further direction was provided to staff to hold a special meeting for a strategic plan retreat. The special meeting was held on 3/12/2024 at the Red Bluff Community Center where each Supervisor shared their top four goals. These goals have been recorded and included in the current draft Strategic Plan and are being presented for consideration and approval by the Board.
