Financial Impact:
This transfer is fully funded within the Adopted Budget, with no impact to the General Fund. If these funds were to be left in the Salary and Benefit accounts, the money will go unspent. CAA is funded through grants and contracts with Social Services.
Background Information:
This transfer is required to cover an unforeseen rise in expenses for postage and office supplies. This transfer will enable the Community Action Agency to pay for contracted services with Tehama County Department of Social Services and provide a contract for the PATH Plaza Community Garden Project.
