Financial Impact:
Costs of services will be paid for with Mental Health Services Act Local Government Special Needs Housing Program housing funds and the No Place Like Home housing funds.
Background Information:
This is a renewal agreement with Debra Villasenor, who is a consultant to the Health Services Agency working on establishing guidelines, structures and methods relating to supportive housing for County clients under the Special Needs Housing Program and No Place Like Home housing projects. She interacts with our housing partners to assist them with completing applications for the California Department of Housing and Community Development required by these funding sources. Ms. Villasenor has the experience and expertise the Department requires for developing successful projects to provide much needed permanent affordable housing in Tehama County. If this agreement is not approved, the Department would not have the services of this well-informed consultant who understands the interaction between the State housing programs and the County.
