Financial Impact:
The compensation for shelter services for the first year of the Agreement is approximately $82,697. Each year after, City shall pay to County an annual amount determined by using the agreed upon formula set forth in Section 3.A of the agreement.
Background Information:
This is a renewal of an existing agreement that was developed and adopted in 2014 by a County Ad Hoc committee and the City of Red Bluff to replace an older, antiquated agreement that did not address current operations between the City and County. The new agreement incorporates modern day activities at the Care Center. The annual compensation amount is based upon human population percentages for the City of Red Bluff and the County’s average annual net expenses for the animal care center for the three preceding fiscal years.
