Financial Impact:
These funds have already been approved in the FY 2023-24 budget process. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
In the Fiscal Year 2023-24, a budget allocation of $90,000.00 was originally made to the Special Department Equipment account 2037-57608 for the purchase of portable radios. We request to move $36,086.25 of these funds to the Vehicle account 2037-57605 to outfit the vehicles purchased in Fiscal Year 2022-23 with the necessary equipment for our officers to use during field operations.
