a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Chairman and Sheriff to sign the Agreement with World Telecom & Surveillance, Inc., for the purpose of providing and installing camera and microphone systems for interview rooms and the morgue, with maximum compensation not to exceed $27,924.03, effective on the date of signing and shall terminate upon completion

Financial Impact:
The funds budgeted in 2027-53800 will allow for the purchase using the existing budget. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The Sheriff’s Office has utilized World Telecom & Surveillance, Inc. since 2015, for a variety of the Sheriff’s Office’s communications installation and maintenance services.
This agreement is intended to purchase camera and microphone systems to link our interview rooms and morgue into one centralized location with video and voice storage. This will allow the Sheriff’s Office personnel to view major investigations from the privacy of a remote location instead of having to be onsite for those investigations. This is especially true for morgue autopsies.
