a) Request authorization to award the Fiscal Year 2024-25 bid for Lube, Oil and Filter Service on County owned vehicles, to the low responsive bidder, Kuper’s Automotive Repair, located at 635 Antelope Blvd., Red Bluff, CA, with a bid of $30.05 for 4 & 5 quart oil changes and $38.05 for 6 quart changes
b) Request authorization for the Purchasing Department to issue a Blanket Purchase Order to Kuper’s Automotive Repair for the above services for County owned vehicles for the period of 7/1/24 through 6/30/25

Departments will utilize funds allocated in their 2024/2025 fiscal year budgets.
Background Information:
On 5/14/24 the Board approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Department to solicit bids for Lube, Oil and Filter Services. The Purchasing Department received three bids. The low responsive bid was submitted by Kuper’s Automotive Repair. Without awarding this service, the County will incur higher maintenance costs for County owned vehicles.
