Financial Impact:
The funds for this position are in the FY 2024-25 Budget Unit 40131 and the salary for the position at Range 28, Step B is $26.10/hour.
Background Information:
The candidate is currently a temporary employee with the Department who was brought on as part of the Subsidized Workforce program through CalWorks. The candidate has been fully trained and been performing the duties for this position for one year. The candidate also has an Associate’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration.
If the requested action is not approved, the County will lose the opportunity to hire this qualified candidate who already has experience in this position.
The Personnel Office has reviewed the candidates education and experience and is in agreement with the proposed salary placement of Range 28, Step B contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
