Background Information:

This is Amendment #1 to the agreement with His Ideas which was reviewed and approved at the Board of Supervisors meeting of 8/16/22 (Misc. Agree. 2022-252). This is a local vendor providing outpatient mental health services to Tehama County residents, allowing for additional capacity for medically necessary services. The contract also provides assistance in meeting Network Adequacy Standards by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). This increase will accommodate the necessary salary changes to recruit and retain staff in Tehama County as well as the increased operational cost. This amendment will also update the rates added in Exhibit B and update the department’s Provider Handbook in Exhibit D.

If the agreement Is not approved, the Agency would need to look for another vendor to provide mental health services.
