It is in the budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 in Budget Unit 2077, Account 53170.
Background Information:
Professional services were rendered to Tehama County by SHN between December 26, 2023, and March 31, 2024. During that time, SHN learned about a number of planning projects, including McCloud Solar and Cottonwood Travel Center in addition to ongoing planning projects. The current Planning Department staff is not equipped to handle the scope of work involved in these projects. SHN will provide Tehama County with remote staff support services related to project application review and processing, environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and staff report assistance. SHN’s general staff support services will be completed on an as-needed time and material basis as directed by the County’s Interim Planning Director.
