Background Information:
Construction of the Jail Re-Entry Facility began in December. As work has progressed, minor changes have been necessary in the course of the project. Change Orders 2 and 3 include responses to unanticipated conditions and changes determined to be in the County’s best interest, including some that provided significant savings. Details of the changes are included in the attached change order forms.
The net change of these items is an increase in overall cost of $32,146.15, with a total change order increase for the project of $31,388.23. The total of change order costs to date is 3% of the Board-authorized change order authority, and nothing is outside the range of ordinary change orders or outside the project budget’s contingency.
