a) AGREEMENT- Request approval and authorization for the Chairman and Sheriff to sign the Agreement with Obsidian IT for the provision of technology support services for a monthly flat fee of $15,223.89, with maximum compensation not to exceed $182,686.68 additionally the County shall pay a maximum of $10,000 for computer services specifically requested that are not covered under Exhibit “B” at the hourly rate of $142.25 per hr., the maximum annual compensation payable under this agreement is $192,686.68, effective 7/1/24 and shall terminate 6/30/25

Financial Impact:
The budget appropriation will be included in the Requested Recommended Budget for FY 24-25 in the Sheriff’s Maintenance of Equipment Budget 2027-53170.
Background Information:
The Sheriff’s Office requires technology support to maintain its information technology infrastructure. Obsidian IT (formerly West Coast Technologies) has been supporting the Sheriff’s Office since April 2014. The proposed agreement has a maximum compensation per month of $15,223.89 effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
