There will not be any increased costs associated with this action.
Background Information:
The Board of Supervisors has directed staff to extend expiring department head employment agreements to September 30, 2024 to provide time to return to and reinforce the department head evaluation process. The attached amendments will extend the Employment Agreement with Jayme Bottke - Executive Director, Health Services Agency and Melani Kain - Public Guardian / Public Administrator to September 30, 2024.
The current salary rates and all other terms and conditions will remain unchanged through the end of the extended term.
