a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Director to sign the Amendment with Peerless Building Maintenance Company (Misc. Agree. #2021-215), to extend the current agreement end date from 9/1/24 to 12/31/24, and increasing compensation to $2590/mo., with maximum compensation not to exceed $100,000, effective 9/1/21 and shall terminate 12/31/24

Financial Impact:
The Department will have an increase in the compensation amount for this agreement of $10,360.00 over that of the original. The Department has sufficient 24/25 fiscal year funding in road fund 3011 53140. There will be no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The Department of Public Works’ agreement is expiring on September 1, 2024 and would like to extend the agreement through December 31, 2024 in order to consider options going forward with a new agreement.
