a. The LSCE team will present the information shared during the February 13 Groundwater Commission study session and key takeaways from the discussion.
b. Informational discussion and consideration of components to be included in a demand management workplan and timeline needed to develop a workplan.
Topics for discussion include, but are not limited to:
• Groundwater pumping reduction goal
• Voluntary approaches to reduce groundwater pumping
• Economic analysis of water conservation practices
• Data needs
• Steps for implementation
• Pumping allocations
• Ordinances and land use restrictions
• Communication and engagement
• Training and education
c. Following direction from the Board, staff will work with County Counsel to develop a Resolution to be presented to the Board in March.
