Financial Impact:
The funds to be received have been identified as revenue in the department's FY 2024-25 budget.
Background Information:
The department has historically entered into agreements with the California Department of Agriculture to perform these services. Without an approved agreement, the department will not be eligible to receive payment for performing Certified Farmers Market inspection activities.
