Financial Impact:
This grant requires 50/50 match. The Grant, if awarded, will provide funding up to $20,000. The remaining $21,454 has been budgeted in the Requested FY 2025-26 Budget, account 2042-53110.
Background Information:
The Fire Department has been receiving this grant for more than 20 years. If successful, the proposal will fund the purchase of Turnouts for the Tehama County Volunteer Firefighters. The due date for filling is May 5, 2025. The application was submitted on 4/16/25 to meet the deadline, however if the Board declines the request to continue with the application process, we will rescind the application.
