a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Agricultural Commissioner to sign Amendment #1 to Standard Agreement No. 24-0132-042-SF (Misc. Agree. #2025-086) with the California Department of Food and Agriculture thereby amending the financial plan, Attachment C Commitment Form and Attachment G Budget and Survey Quick Guide and increasing the amount not to exceed to $48,912, effective 7/1/24 through 6/30/25

Financial Impact:
The funds to be received have been included in the department’s FY 2024/25 budget.
Background Information:
Paragraph three (3) of the agreement is hereby amended to increase the agreement by $20,198 for a new total not to exceed $48,912. New financial plans for the increased amount, an updated Attachment C: Commitment Form and Attachment G: Budget and Survey Quick Guide replace the ones in the original agreement. The additional funding was approved after the original agreement was already processed and is now available to the county to fund additional Detection Trapping programs. Without an approved agreement amendment, the department will not receive adequate funding to perform additional countywide Detection Trapping activities.
