Financial Impact:
$150,000 will be made available in a revolving fund and be repaid by June 30, 2025.
Background Information:
In July 2024, Tehama County became aware of repairs needed to the Paskenta Community Services District (CSD) water tank. The Paskenta CSD secured reimbursable state grant funding for the repairs but does not have funds available for the upfront costs.
In June 2024, the Board of Supervisors approved the reallocation of $1.5 million in ARPA funds designated for dry well relief to the Dry Well Mitigation Program. A portion of these funds will be used for the loan to Paskenta CSD.
