Financial Impact:
The estimated annual base salary for this 1.0 FTE at Step C is $58,427.20, $5,438.80 greater than Step A. The Department has sufficient funding budgeted for appointment at Step C for the fiscal year 2024/25. There will be no impact to the general fund.
Background Information:
The candidate’s many years of experience with financial statements, internal audits, daily budget analysis, A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciling and research, financial statements, along with her lengthy experience with accounting software and Microsoft suite, journaling and month end reconciliation, makes her an ideal candidate for this position. She has two and a half years managing and overseeing accounting functions in two of her previous roles. The Department will benefit from a candidate with this skill set, which is much greater than an entry level accountant, and would like to capitalize on the opportunity to hire this highly qualified candidate who we believe will be a great fit for our department needs and culture.
The Personnel Office has reviewed the candidate’s qualifications and is in agreement with placement at Step C.
