a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Sheriff and the Chief Probation Officer to sign the Interagency Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of providing Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA) examinations to pre-employment applicants, in the amount of $400 for each CVSA examination conducted with a maximum compensation not to exceed $4,000, effective 8/1/24 through 7/31/25

Financial Impact:
The Probation Department will allocate the funds requested for FY 2024-25 to pay for these services from budget unit 2037, account 53230.
Background Information:
The Sheriff's Office has multiple qualified CVSA examiners on staff who would provide these services to the Probation Department. These examinations would help provide information to the Probation Department to make informed decisions about applicants as the CVSA is used for truth verification.
