Background Information:
On 9/10/2024 during the discussion of Future Agenda Items, Supervisor Carlson requested a discussion item to consider the option of extending this hiring freeze.
On 6/25/2024 the Board of Supervisors heard a recommended budget presentation from staff. This item included a resolution to consider the implementation of a Soft Hiring Freeze. This resolution was adopted to implement a Soft Hiring Freeze effective July 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024.
