The funds for this position are currently budgeted in the FY 2024-25, Budget Unit 2028.
Background Information:
The selected candidate for this position has over 20 years mechanical experience. This experience includes basic preventive engine maintenance, brake and oil changes, tire rotations, and over 5 complete vehicle engine rebuilds. The candidate is experienced with the use of vehicle On Board Diagnostics (OBD) equipment, Volt meters, and vehicle lifts. The candidate has previously owned a Landscape Demolition business which required him to maintain and repair various small engine equipment and general repair of a one-ton service truck. The candidate’s training and experience exceeds the minimum qualifications of the classification and justifies placement at Range 21, step 2 within the Joint Council (JC) association.
The Personnel Office has reviewed the candidate’s qualifications and is in agreement with placement at Salary Range 21, Step 2 upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
