recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. 06-2026 authorizing the Executive Director, or designee, to submit and execute all documents necessary to secure and administer Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program funding for the Redding Area Bus Authority expanded intercity transit operations project serving Tehama County.
body

Financial Impact:

The project will utilize $600,000 in federal CMAQ funds programmed over five fiscal years:

FY 2026/27: $200,000
FY 2027/28 through FY 2030/31: $100,000 annually

The current fund-transfer documentation identifies the project as 100 percent federally funded, with no STIP match or toll credits proposed. No TCTC local funding contribution is identified. RABA will remain the transit operator and project lead.
