Financial Impact:
The funds for this position are in FY 2024-25 Budget Unit 40121, and the salary for the position at Range 34, Step B is $30.26/hr. The Department currently has four vacancies in this position which has created salary savings in the current budget year.
Background Information:
This candidate has extensive experience chairing both organizational and community-based committees and boards. He also has valuable experience in training employees, managing complex grant funded workplans, and gathering and analyzing data.
If the requested action is not approved, the County will lose the opportunity to hire a highly qualified applicant in this position. The Department has been recruiting since June 2024, and currently has four vacancies.
The Personnel Office has reviewed the candidate’s qualifications and is in agreement with placement at Salary Range 34, Step B upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
