body
Financial Impact:
This is a grant receivable to the County with Mental Health being the fiscal pass through in an amount of $450,000. This Amendment No. 1 does not change the grant amount. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The purpose of the grant is to enhance an existing county partnership with school-based programs, to expand access to mental health services for children and youth, including campus-based mental health services, and to facilitate linkage and access to ongoing and sustained services.
Tehama County Office of Education has agreed to be the lead agency for the grant, but the application/grant approval required the local mental health to partner and be the fiscal intermediary for the funds.
Grant: MHSSA RFA 004 - Sustainability
Grant Award: $450,000
Grant Term: July 1, 2024 - March 31, 2028
This Amendment No. 1 makes the following changes to the agreement:
• Extends the term of the grant for an additional three months until 3/31/28.
• Recognizes that the agency name has been renamed from Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission to Behavioral Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission.
• The Mental Health Student Services Act has been renamed to Behavioral Health Student Services Act.
• Exhibit A has been revised to add language that requires a Final Report on major accomplishments in the Sustainability Strategy.
• Exhibit B was revised to include an updated Fiscal Detail.
