Agree. #2025-035 as amended by #2025-245, and #2025-137), for the purpose of administering a subsidized employment program for eligible CalWORKs participants, thereby increasing the total maximum compensation not to exceed $667,350

Financial Impact:
Funding for this program is anticipated in the FY 2025-2026 budget, account 5013-53230, Professional and Special Services. These activities are funded with federal CalWORKs Expanded Subsidized Employment funding which is all federal and state funding. There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
This is the third amendment to the existing Miscellaneous Agreement #2025-035. The second amendment 2025-245 increased the total amount from $349,064.10 to $450,000.The first amendment 2025-137 extended the term from June 2025 to June 2026. This is a continuing agreement. Express has provided these services since 2015. Tehama County Social Services Employment and Training workers will refer CalWORKs participants to Express Employment to be screened for employment. Participants that meet the criteria will be provided various employment opportunities at different worksites throughout the community for a 6-month period. This program focuses on a longer-term job placement, which will provide immediately available, meaningful subsidized work that has the potential to lead to unsubsidized employment.
