a) AGREEMENT - Request approval for the Auditor-Controller to sign Amendment No.1 to Agreement Number 2023-208 with Superion, LLC a CentralSquare Technologies company for the purpose of providing financial software with hosted services and to add Administrative Consulting and assistance with Cognos report writing, increasing the not to exceed maximum compensation to $394,718.75, effective 6/13/2023 and shall terminate in five (5) years (Subject to receipt of required insurance documentation)

Financial Impact:
The total cost of the Amendment is $41,040. The anticipated usage in the next fiscal year should not exceed $20,000. The Department has remaining Professional Services budget that will be encumbered for next year’s expenditures. There will be no additional General Fund cost in 2026/27.
Background Information:
The Auditor-Controller entered into a contract with Superion LLC a CentralSquare Technologies company, in June 2023 for the County’s financial & payroll processing software. This was an upgrade from Finance Pro to Finance Enterprise. The software is fully implemented for maintenance purposes, however, now that we are operational, issues have been discovered that require special programming.
The amended contract will allow the Auditor-Controller to gain a better understanding of Cognos report writing software and to obtain assistance as necessary with reporting. This will also allow us to adjust some of the financial processes that are not working correctly, which require special programming.
