Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact on the General Fund. There is no direct financial cost with this agreement. This agreement is in relation to the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing Program grant funds that consist of $2,371,591 in total. The grant agreement is attached for reference (Misc. Agreement #2024-087). Budget unit is 40131.

Background Information:
The Board of Supervisors approved the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing Program (BHBH) agreement on 4/16/24 (Misc. Agreement #2024-087) for the purpose of awarding funding to County Behavioral Health Agencies in order to operate bridge house settings to address the immediate and sustainable housing needs of people experiencing homelessness who have serious behavioral health conditions. Tehama County was awarded these grant funds.

Poor and The Homeless County Coalition (PATH) is a subcontractor for Tehama County to carry out the implementation of the BHBH program through the following tasks:
* The construction of up to five tiny homes, as well as funding for ongoing normal repair/maintenance.

* The purchase of a mobile home, as well as funding for ongoing normal repair/maintenance.

Tehama County will not be owning the tiny homes or modular building but will be transferring the funds from the BHBH grant to PATH. PATH will have oversight for the construction of the tiny homes and purchase of the mobile home.
