Financial Impact:
Funding is approved in the Behavioral Health Division’s annual budget (40131). The salary for this position will be $145,402.00 annually for the entire four (4) year term of the contract. Any percentage increases in salary for all classifications represented by the Joint Council Bargaining Unit would increase Mrs. Bloom’s compensation by an equal percentage.
Background Information:
This is a new employment agreement with Mrs. Bloom to perform the functions and duties of a full-time psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic. The Department has met with Mrs. Bloom and both parties have agreed to the salary and benefits and all terms and conditions contained in the agreement.
Without Board of Supervisor approval, Behavioral Health patients may not have access to mid-level practitioner services in a timely manner.
This is a contract, overtime exempt position.
