Background Information:
In June, Caitlin met with SBA members to discuss their recycling levels. One MFD decided not to keep the recycling (though now they have it included in their service through Green Waste of Tehama) and one MFD decided to keep their recycling service and downgrade their trash level.

In June, the Agency provided indoor and outdoor recycling receptacles to the P.A.T.H. Navigation Center and indoor recycling receptacles to the Tehama County Library Red Bluff Branch.

On June 5th and June 26th, Paul attended the Wednesday Downtown Red Bluff Farmers' Market. Caitlin attended on July 3rd.

The Agency hosted the Northern California Recycling Collaborative meeting on July 26th. Discussion centered around AB 341, SB 1383, and SB 54.

On August 28th, Caitlin attended the Child Safety Fair and talked to the public about safe hazardous waste disposal.

On June 27th and August 29th, Caitlin attended Good Morning Red Bluff and spoke to businesses about recycling and the Smart Business Alliance.

On September 3rd, Paul attended the Corning Tuesday Night Market and spoke to the public about used oil recycling, HHW disposal, and composting.

On September 14th, the Agency hosted Passenger Tire Collections at the Corning Park and Ride and Evergreen Middle School in Cottonwood. Tires were also accepted at the Manton and Rancho Tehama transfer stations. A total of 676 passenger tires were collected.

Paul attended the Manton Apple Festival on October 5th and spoke to the public about composting and gave composting demonstrations.

Caitlin will be attending the Corning Olive Festival on October 12th and the Dairyville Orchard Festival on October 19th to speak to the public about recycling and responsible household hazardous waste management.
