a) AGREEMENT - Request authorization for the Tehama County Community Action Agency Executive Director to sign the Contract Change Order with PG&E (Misc. Agree #2021-323), for PSPS Food Service Program funds for the Meals on Wheels Program, not to exceed $64,800, effective 12/10/24 and shall terminate 12/31/27 or sooner by either party

Financial Impact:
The PG&E funds are only to be used during a PSPS event or other non-PSPS related outages (ex: winter storms, wildfires, etc.) and will not have an impact on the Meals on Wheels budget unless actually used. Budget unit 5063 would be adjusted based on the actual invoice to PG&E and the amount reimbursed.
Background Information:
During a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS), Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) will provide Food Service Program funds to Tehama County Community Action Agency (CAA) for the Meals on Wheels Program to provide one additional meal, up to $15 per meal, to be served to homebound seniors during an outage or PSPS event. CAA will also share PG&E PSPS emergency preparedness and other relevant information and education materials with customers.
