a) AGREEMENT – Request approval and authorization for the Sheriff to sign the Agreement with CorrecTek for the provision of providing electronic health record (EHR) software licenses for eight (8) users, maintenance, support, and implementation for an upfront fee of $170,700, which will include implementation and five (5) years of service, additionally the County shall pay a maximum of $10,000 annually for Surescripts Patient Medication History searches, the maximum compensation payable under this Agreement is $220,700.00, effective upon execution of Agreement and shall terminate 60 months thereafter

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact on the General Fund. The Sheriff’s Office will utilize CALAIM AB133 funds to issue payment to CorrecTek.

Background Information:
On August 6, 2025, the Tehama County Sheriff's Office issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for the County Jail. Eight (8) proposals were received by the October 1, 2025, submission deadline.

A comprehensive evaluation of the proposals was conducted using the criteria established in the RFP. Following the review and scoring process, CorrecTek was unanimously identified as the highest-ranked proposer.

CorrecTek is a nationally recognized provider of correctional Electronic Health Record solutions with extensive experience implementing comprehensive healthcare information systems for correctional facilities. The evaluation committee determined that CorrecTek possesses the qualifications, technical expertise, and demonstrated experience necessary to meet and exceed the County's operational and clinical requirements.
