Agreement 2025-374 with the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) for participation in the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (“HEDIS”) program, thereby amending the terms of Service and amending the total funding cost in the amount of $50,639, effective 1/1/25 and shall terminate 12/31/29

Financial Impact:
The total funding cost is increasing from $25,920 to $50,639. Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) dollars will be utilized to pay for these services. Budget Unit is 40131 for Mental Health. There is no impact on the General Fund.
Background Information:
This Participation Agreement is Amendment No.1 to Misc. Agreement 2025-374 for the purpose of supporting the Tehama County Health Services Agency (TCHSA) in meeting the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) mandated Healthcare Effective Data and Information Set (HEDIS) reporting requirements for Measurement Year 2025. HEDIS is one of health care’s most widely used performance improvement tools to evaluate and drive health care quality. CalMHSA utilizes data provided by the department to calculate the five required Mental Health Plan measures and produce one annual report to help target interventions and meet state requirements.
Amendment No.1 is intended to revise Exhibit “A” and provide an updated terms of Service and costs associated with Measurement Year 2026/Reporting Year 2027 and the addition of Attachment “A” - Attestation of Authority to Collect and Exchange Data.
