Financial Impact:
Meals on Wheels has received an increase of funding available in the current fiscal year 2025/26. This funding comes from the Meals on Wheels grant amendment Sub Award (A25-0006-S008) through Chico State Enterprises, Area 3 Agency on Aging (AAA). There is no impact to the General Fund.
Background Information:
The contract for the grant amendment has been approved by the Board on April 28, 2026, Agreement Number 2026-091; however, a transfer was not completed to account for the amended funding. This transfer will cover costs through fiscal year end.
