The California Health and Safety Code section 44363 requires the District to prepare and publish an annual report that describes, prioritizes, and summarizes the results and progress of the Health Risk Assessment Program undertaken by the District. The program ranks and identifies facilities according to the degree of cancer risk posed to both individuals and the exposed population, identifies facilities that expose individuals or populations to non-cancer health risks, and describes the status of the development of control measures to reduce emissions of toxic air contaminants, if any. This section also requires the District to disseminate the Annual Report to City Councils and Local Health Officers.
The report is available on the District’s website: -Air Toxics Program TCAPCD (tehcoapcd.net) <https://www.tehcoapcd.net/air-toxics-program/> and is available for viewing by the public at the Air Pollution Control District office located at 1834 Walnut Street, Red Bluff, California. A notice of the report’s availability was sent to the City Councils of Tehama, Red Bluff, Corning, and the Tehama County Health Department.
