Financial Impact:

Assessments for the Fiscal Year 2025-26 are $15,304.30. Estimated expenditures for an anticipated 0.10 Tenth Overlay (20 Year Cycle) Road maintenance application will total $159,318.74 and are scheduled for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year. Additional administration charges will be included in the amount of $1,000.

Background Information:

The proposed assessment amount is a 1.51% increase over the prior year. The anticipated seven-year cycle Slurry Seal Road maintenance application was deferred to reset maintenance application schedule resulting in 0.10 Tenth Overlay to be applied in the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year. The Board could choose not to approve the request, in which case, the Bywood Drive PRD will not have the authority to place assessments on the tax roll or to pay administrative and management charges incurred for assessment management, the maintenance of records and inspections.
