Financial Impact: There is no financial impact associated with this item. There are no rate changes being imposed this fiscal year.
Background Information:
This Ordinance is for the sole purpose of consolidating and renumbering past ordinances to provide clarification and ease of access and understanding for the public. The Ordinance authorizes the District to inspect sewer mainlines for evidence of defects, or inflow and infiltration and, when necessary, further investigate private laterals when such evidence is identified to determine the necessary actions to abate said inflow and infiltration. It provides an administrative appeal process for property owners and ratepayers affected by District decisions.
