a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Executive Director to sign the Standard Agreement #26-60070 and all related documents with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) for the County Performance Contract, effective 7/1/26 through 6/30/29

Financial Impact:

There is no dollar amount associated with the Agreement. This Agreement sets forth conditions and requirements that the County must meet in order to receive funding from various State program sources. There is no impact on the General Fund.

 

Background Information:

The California Department of Health care Services (DHCS) administers the Behavioral Health Services Act, Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) Act, Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH), Community Mental Health Services Block Grant (MHBG), Substance Use Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services Block Grant (SUBG), and Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training (CCP), and oversees County provision of community mental health services pursuant to the Bronzan-McCorquodale Act.

 

The County must meet certain conditions and requirements to receive funding for these programs and services as set forth in this County Performance Contract.
