Background Information:

On May 14, 2025, Vicky Dawley resigned from the Indirect Source Rule (ISR) Review Committee after 12 years of dedicated service. She served as the committee’s member-at-large representing the public and played a key role in evaluating mitigation proposals and advancing clean air objectives throughout her tenure.

Brin Greer, a project manager at the Resource Conservation District of Tehama County (RCDTC), has expressed interest in filling the vacant member-at-large seat. This position is appointed by the District Board of Directors and is intended to represent public interests in the ISR Review Committee’s work.

The ISR Review Committee is responsible for evaluating, reviewing, and recommending proposed mitigation projects submitted under the Indirect Source Rule. Recommendations are based on the cost-effectiveness of each project, with final selections made by the District Board of Directors.

If appointed, Brin would participate in future committee meetings and contribute to the review of projects aimed at offsetting emissions from indirect sources of air pollution.
