a) AGREEMENT - Request approval and authorization for the Interim Executive Director to sign Amendment No.1 to Misc. Agreement 2025-149 with Davis Guest Home, Inc. for the purpose of providing community mental health services to certain residents, thereby amending the rates set forth in Exhibit “B”, for a total compensation not to exceed $450,000, with a term of 7/1/25 through 6/30/27

Financial Impact:
Budget Unit is 40131 for Mental Health. There is no change to the total compensation amount. Costs of services will be paid for with Mental Health realignment funds and/or Mental Health Services Act dollars allocated for medically necessary services.
Background Information:
On 6/10/25, the Board of Supervisors approved the Misc. Agreement #2025-149 with Davis Guest Home for the purpose of providing long term residential services to residents of Tehama County. Amendment #1 is to update Exhibit B to include the rates for Fiscal Year 26/27. There is no change to the term or the overall compensation amount.
If the Amendment is not approved, clients in need of these long-term services who are referred to the Department will not have the benefit of this location or programs to meet their needs. This could result in clients being placed at further distances and cause disruptions and delays for clients for these residential services.
