Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the General Fund as this purchase will be paid out of CalAIM PATH 3 funds to issue payment to Idemia Identity & Security USA LLC.
Background Information:
The Probation Department will utilize the Live Scan machine for proper identification of detained youth, and collection of biometric data for submission to DOJ. The Probation Department will also use the livescan machine for processing new county applicants. The Year 2 Extended Maintenance Plan will be pre-paid by this Agreement, but those services are not included in the quote and terms of this Agreement.
