Agreement 2022-145, with Coastal Business Systems, Inc. for the provision of the lease and maintenance of one (1) multifunction device located at 1850 Walnut St., Building G, Red Bluff, CA 96080, thereby increasing the maximum compensation amount to $29,000, effective 5/1/22 and shall terminate on 4/30/27

Financial Impact:

The maximum compensation amount is increasing from $21,000 to $29,000. The Budget Unit is 40171 for Drug & Alcohol, there is no impact to the General Fund.

 

Background Information:

On May 24, 2022, the Board of Supervisors approved Misc. Agreement 2022-145 for the lease & maintenance Agreement for a multifunction printer/copier/scanner/fax machine to be housed at and used by the Drug & Alcohol center. The lease Agreement is $335.40 (including tax) per month, for sixty (60) months, which includes all supplies, except for paper & staples, for 3,000 black & white pages, and 1,500 color pages per month. The Contractor bills Health Services quarterly for copy & print pages that exceed the monthly allotment. Due to high print volume, the original $21,000 maximum compensation was expended at the end of the fourth year of the five-year lease & maintenance Agreement. We are requesting an increase to the maximum compensation amount in order to be able to pay invoices for the last year of the Agreement.
