Background Information:
The Air Pollution Control Department is requesting to revise the classification specification for the Air Pollution Control Specialist I/II and Air Pollution Control Specialist III.
The Department requests to revise the Definition, Supervision Received and Class Characteristics sections to update the referenced title of Air Pollution Control Program Manager to the current title of Air Pollution Control Officer. In addition, the License and Special Requirements section has been revised to reflect the current Driver’s License requirements as set forth in SB 1100.
There is no requested change to the current salary placement.
The Joint Council Bargaining Unit has been notified of the proposed revisions.
