Financial Impact:
The Sheriff’s Office will pay for the purchase from budget unit 2027-57605 and will then be reimbursed by Trindel and PRISM Insurance for all purchased items except the $1,000 County deductible.
Background Information:
This purchase is to replace a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that was damaged and determined to be a total loss by Trindel and PRISM Insurance, back in April of 2023. County Administration asked PRISM if it was possible to use the current state contract to replace this vehicle and they approved. This would allow for the Sheriff’s Office to get a new vehicle for the 25-year-old Police Interceptor.
