a) AGREEMENT- Request approval and authorization for Chief Probation Officer to sign the Group Home Agreement with Remi Vista, Inc. for the purpose of court-ordered placement of a juvenile in a residential facility in the total amount not to exceed $39,025.68 effective 4/13/2026 through 04/13/2028 (subject to receipt of required insurance documentation)

Financial Impact:
Costs incurred as a result of services provided by this Agreement will be paid out of Budget Unit 2036 account 53230-Professional Services and will be funded by the Juvenile Justice Realignment Block Grant (JJRBG) revenue stream.
Background Information:
On April 7th, 2026, the Tehama County Superior Court ordered the placement of a juvenile in custody as recommended by the Tehama County Probation Department in collaboration with Far Northern Regional Center. The minor’s current placement with the minor’s guardian has proven insufficient to meet the minor’s needs and the program at Remi Vista specializes in treating the minor’s needs. A reunification plan including returning the minor to care, custody, and control of the minor’s guardian is being worked on concurrently while the minor completes the program requirements while receiving services from Remi Vista Placement was secured with Remi Vista, Inc. for the anticipated duration of no longer than 24 months.
